Television And Its Impact Your Feel Great Journey

One of my theories explaining why exercise is so hard is that all of the advertisements we see are to help us relax and take it easy. Mostly, I think, so that we will sit in front of the television so that they can sell us more stuff. Okay, I guess you know by now what I think about television. But let me give you one more radical suggestion. Get rid of cable or satellite TV or whatever you pay for so that you can sit in front of the television and get more and more unhealthy while watching unhealthy advertising and TV shows that put negative messages in your brain and waste your time. You won't be missing anything and your life will be richer by reading, exercising, having more money and more time to build relationships. One more comment about television and then I will get off my soapbox. A few years ago, I went 1 year without watching any television or movies. It wasn't easy but since I knew I was addicted to television, I knew I had to do it. Toward the end, I cheated a little but in general I did pretty well. I was surprised how much time I had and how much better I could focus. Television is more detrimental than just the content. And remember, where your eyes go, the rest of you follows.
